Hi, I'm Chris Cox. ButterTV is a site I created to put up comedy shorts and bits I've done for you to see. It was born out of the success of a video I wrote, directed and rapped in called “Lazy Muncie.” Yeah, I know, I wreak of rapper. It was a midwest response to the SNL internet hit“Lazy Sunday” -the Chronicles Of Narnia rap- and like the SNL short, “Lazy Muncie” became a viral video. It was viewed over a million times in February and March of 2006 on a multitude of sites like youtube, iFilm, Break, and Collegehumor, just to name a few. I'm originally from Muncie, Indiana so it was particularly big in that town. No key to the city or anything, but they did do a nice article in the local paper. Now I live in Los Angeles where I am a writer who also does voiceover. I used to have a show on Spike TV (formerly TNN) called Small Shots and I have worked on shows for Comedy Central and Fox. I also do voices for all sorts of commercials and animated shows, including Family Guy.

The reason I started ButterTV is because I wanted an outlet for my brand of humor. That means that instead of getting the usual notes from a network, I just write stuff or work with other people to write stuff that I think is funny. I hope you enjoy the site and tell others about it. Keep coming back as I will be continuing to put new material up as time and money permit. Or is it permits? And I call myself a writer.
